By reserving or renting a room at BnB Obermumpf, you agree to the following policies, terms, and conditions.
We will do everything possible to make your stay most enjoyable. To ensure you will have a very pleasant experience at BnB Obermumpf, we have established the following policies. Please take a few minutes to review these policies, and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.
Booking Policies
Room rates based on single or double occupancy with or without breakfast. A folding bed is available for the 3rd person at extra cost.
Prices may vary from outdated quotes on other websites, and only rates as published on BnB Obermumpf`s website are guaranteed. Only one discount or promotion can be applied at a time.
The BnB Obermumpf does not accept walk-in guests. Bookings within 24 hours of stay must be made by phone, otherwise we encourage you to make your reservation online.
All reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card regardless of how the final payment will be made. We accept MC, Visa, Maestro and Cash. Service Charge of 3% applied to each transaction.
Check In/Check Out
Check-In is between 17::00h and 21:00h. Arrangements for late arrivals should be made in advance with the owner.
*Late arrivals If your flight gets delayed or some other delay occurs and you cannot arrive before 21:00h., please give us a call to let us know about the delay. There will be SFr 30.- late arrival fee if you arrive later than 22:00h. Absolutely no arrivals after 23:00h. Please, no calls after 21:00h out of respect and courtesy of other house guests and owner.
*Early arrivals and Baggage Drop Off may be possible with advance notice.
Checkout time is at 10:00h
Cancellation Policy
Making a reservation at a bed and breakfast is not the same as making a hotel reservation. Due to our small size (2 rooms), cancellations affect us significantly. A last minute cancellation gives us little chance of re-booking a room. For this reason we uphold a strict cancellation policy:
*Guests are responsible for payment of all nights reserved regardless of their actual arrival or departure date.
*No-shows are responsible for full payment of their entire reservation.
*If the booking is cancelled less than 30 days before arrival then a charge equal to the full booking amount will be made.
*If the booking is cancelled 30 or more days before arrival then a charge equal to 50% of the stay will be made.
Owner’s Rights
BnB Obermumpf is privately owned and operated. Management reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not be responsible for guest accidents or injury, or for the loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served between 07:00h and 09:00h unless otherwise arranged.
Evening Meals
Evening meals can be arranged with advanced notice.
Property Issues
Any damages, stolen items, or broken items occurring during the stay will be the full financial responsibility of the guest, including anyone traveling with the guest. Any special clean-up resulting in damages caused by the guests will be charged to the credit card. Charges may need to be applied after guest departure as deemed necessary by the Owner. Towel replacement cost is Sfr 25.
Please report all spills and/or damages to the Owner promptly.
Smoking & Vaporizing
For the safety and comfort of all of our guests, we do not allow Smoking or Vaporizing (E Cigarettes) inside BnB Obermumpf. We have separate, designated smoking area for your use. Guests smoking in the house will be charged a minimum SFr 200.- fee and up, to return any room to a non-smoking status.
Guests and Pets at BnB Obermumpf
We cater to the comfort, privacy and security of our registered guests. Guest visitors are only permitted on the property with prior Owner approval. If you would like to have any non-registered guests join you for breakfast there is an additional charge of SFr 15.- per person, and advance notice to the owner is required.
BnB Obermumpf is regarded as a quiet escape and home away from home for most of our guests, and I work hard to foster that environment. Persons not staying overnight at BnB Obermumpf are not permitted in the house at anytime.
I regret that we are not able to accommodate guest pets, there is a dog on the property. Brandy is a female Hungarian Vizsla born October 2013, although extremely friendly, she is confined to my quarters during your stay.
